Job description • The Designer in the Instrumentation and Control Discipline is primarily concerned with the preparation of Instrumentation engineering drawings, design documents and calculations for projects, tenders and proposals, and to do so as per client requirements, company standards and project scope of work. • Design and drafting of Instrumentation drawings, Material Take-Off and Schedules for a given project. Development of drawings, models and documents listed above using CAD systems. As required for the project or proposal. Output includes: • Input / Output list • Equipment list layout • Control Room Arrangement • Field Instrumentation Location Layouts • Preliminary Cable Tray Routing • Typical Installation Details • Material Take-Offs • 3DModeling of instrumentation and tapping points (offline), Junction Boxes, local panels, etc., for the project. • Loop Diagrams • Termination Diagrams • Detailed Cable/Tray Routing • Cable Schedules • Installation Details • As-Built Documentation • Design and drafting hook up drawings • Undertaking site visits for data collection purposes and reporting on site queries to Lead Engineer • Provide inputs for proposal preparation purposes.
