Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Detailing Checker with 2-7 years of experience in Tekla Structures to join
our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of detailed
drawings for onshore and offshore structural steel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and check detailed drawings and models created in Tekla Structures for accuracy, adherence to
specifications, and compliance with project requirements.
- Verify dimensions, materials, welding symbols, and connection details for structural steel components.
- Collaborate with the detailing and design teams to resolve discrepancies or conflicts in drawings.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for design improvements and quality enhancements.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of checked drawings.
Qualifications:
- 2-10 years of experience in structural steel detailing and checking using Tekla Structures.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes for onshore and offshore projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in offshore structure detailing (Bulk Heads, Double Bottoms, jackets, topsides, etc.).
- Knowledge of other detailing tools (AutoCAD, Advance Steel) is a plus.
