Job Description
Core responsibilities
• Instruction and training:
Conduct and facilitate training sessions on both basic and advanced AutoCAD topics. This includes lectures and hands-on practice for 2D and 3D design.
• Curriculum development:
Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assignments that meet industry standards. This also involves updating materials to reflect new software versions and techniques.
• Student support and assessment:
Provide hands-on guidance, answer questions, and offer extra support to students who need it. Evaluate student progress through assignments and projects and provide constructive feedback.
• Technical expertise:
Stay up-to-date with the latest features, industry trends, and best practices in AutoCAD and related CAD software.
Administrative duties:
Maintain training records and prepare reports as needed. May also assist with student counseling, placement support, and promoting training programs.
Qualifications and skills
• Proven experience working with AutoCAD software is essential.
• Strong knowledge of CAD and its applications in fields like architecture, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and helping others learn.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
