We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chip-Level Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuit boards at the chip/component level. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electronic components, soldering, and diagnostic equipment used in the repair of devices such as laptops, smartphones, motherboards, PCBs, or other embedded systems.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose faults in circuit boards and identify defective components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test tools.
• Perform BGA rework, IC replacement, and micro-soldering on multilayer PCBs.
• Repair and replace components such as ICs, transistors, capacitors, resistors, and connectors.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and datasheets.
• Use hot air guns, soldering/desoldering stations, and reflow ovens efficiently.
• Maintain documentation of repairs, parts used, and testing results.
• Collaborate with customer support or service teams to provide technical input on complex cases.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-protected work environment.
________________________________________Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in chip-level repair (more for senior roles).
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Excellent soldering and desoldering skills (manual and hot air).
• Familiarity with repairing laptops, mobile phones, tablets, or industrial control boards (as applicable).
• Good understanding of digital and analog circuits.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Certification in electronics repair (e.g., CompTIA A+, IPC, BGA rework certification).
• Experience with Apple/HP/Dell/Samsung repairs (or brand-specific experience).
• Familiarity with BIOS flashing and firmware-level troubleshooting.
