Job Description
Using Tekla Structures software to create detailed 3D models, shop drawings, and erection plans for steel and concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Key responsibilities include generating fabrication details, material lists, and construction documents, while collaborating with engineers, architects, and fabricators to minimize errors and optimize project efficiency.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
• 3D Modeling:
Create precise 3D models of structural components using Tekla Structures.
• Drawing Production:
Produce accurate shop drawings, erection drawings, and other detailed documents required for fabrication and construction.
• Material Lists:
Generate detailed material lists from the 3D models for use in fabrication.
• Coordination:
Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and completeness.
• Quality Assurance:
Review and verify drawings and models for errors and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaboration:
Communicate with fabricators, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve detailing-related issues in collaboration with project teams.
